Simple plans, no surprises.

Credits are how the tools that read your transcripts, exhibits, and recordings are measured: proofing a final against the audio, building case prep and glossaries from exhibits, indexing a recording so you can search it, and a few others. Each plan includes a monthly allowance, and the app tells you what a job will use before it runs. Everything that does not touch those tools, from jobs and billing to files, calendar, and editors, is included on every plan with no limit.

You do not have to decide on day one. The trial gives you the full workspace for two months, and before it ends the app suggests a plan based on what you actually used. Most reporters land on Core. If you only want the practice management side, Essentials covers all of it.

You choose a plan inside the app before the trial ends, and nothing is charged until that date. If you do nothing, your account becomes read-only after a short grace period: you can still open and export everything, you just cannot add or change records until you pick a plan.

Not to work on a reporter's team. If a reporter invites you, your account is free: assignments, files, proofing tools, and invoicing the reporters you work for. If you run your own reporting business too, that side works like any reporter account.

Yes. Plans are month to month. Move up or down as your workload changes, and cancel whenever you like. Your data stays exportable, and you can also keep every job file in your own Dropbox or Google Drive as you work.
